A few things you might want to know before getting in touch. If your question is more specific, we are happy to talk it through.

Getting started

Where do you provide IT support?

We cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and Greater London. Remote support is available by arrangement, with on-site work discussed around the job and your location.

Can you help with a one-off project?

Yes. Alongside ongoing support, we can discuss individual projects such as office setups, network improvements, migrations and infrastructure upgrades.

Can you work with our existing IT setup?

Start by telling us what you already use and what is causing difficulty. We can assess the existing setup and discuss practical improvements, including what can be reused.

How much does IT support cost?

Costs depend on your systems, the work involved and the support you need. We discuss the scope and any third-party costs before providing a quote.

How do I get started?

Call 07565 347309 or email contact@geekworks.london with a brief description of what you need and how to reach you. There is no need for a technical brief.

Support arrangements

Do I need an ongoing agreement?

We can discuss both ongoing support and individual pieces of work. Tell us what you need and we will explain the options and costs before work begins.

Can support be remote or on site?

Both can be discussed. Remote support suits many day-to-day issues; on-site work is arranged when the task needs a hands-on approach.

What response times do you offer?

Availability, response targets and any out-of-hours requirements are agreed as part of your support scope. Call or email to discuss what your business needs.

Projects & systems

Can you work alongside other suppliers?

We can discuss working with your existing IT contacts, internet provider or other project suppliers, with responsibilities agreed at the start.

Can you help with an office move?

We can plan the network side of a move, including connectivity requirements, data cabling, Wi-Fi and equipment setup. Lead times and third-party dependencies are discussed in advance.

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?

No. We look at your requirements and existing systems. A local, cloud or mixed setup may be appropriate depending on how your business works.

Are licences included?

Any required licences, subscriptions and third-party costs are identified in the proposed scope. They are not automatically included in every service.
